We are Buckeye State Comfort Company, based in New Albany, providing top-notch HVAC services to our local community. As a trusted name in the region, we have established our authority by serving the areas around Bevelhymer Park and the historic district of New Albany. Our team is well-versed in the unique challenges posed by the Midwestern climate, including extreme temperature fluctuations and high humidity levels, which can accelerate the degradation of HVAC systems.

Local Weather Conditions and HVAC Needs

The Ohio River Valley's high-saturation latent heat loads and atmospheric corrosive particulates can cause significant stress on HVAC systems, leading to thermal fatigue and oxidative degradation. At Buckeye State Comfort, we understand the importance of addressing these issues through our strict adherence to Manual J Load Calculations, Manual D Duct Design, and ACCA quality installation standards. Our technicians are trained to perform Subcooling and Superheat diagnostics, analyze External Static Pressure gradients, and implement Psychrometric dehumidification cycles to ensure optimal system performance.

Furthermore, we recognize the hyper-local Ohio HVAC pain points, such as biological growth in dark evaporator cabinets, secondary heat exchanger fouling in high-efficiency furnaces, and frozen condensate drain lines during Polar Vortex events. Our team is equipped to handle these challenges and provide tailored solutions to mitigate the risks associated with refrigerant acidity and compressor slugging in aging residential heat pump systems.
